Web Designer

Hello, my name is Kingyin Lee. I am currently a Medical Student at UCL. I first started building webpages in 1997 for BT Labs in Martlesham Heath, near Ipswich, Suffolk. Since then I have created my own personal page since starting my first degree in Biochemical Engineering at UCL, before embarking on this website.

Previous Projects:

The "Web For All" project. I created the project with the aim to encourage Chinese people in London to read English, which is now managed by the Bishop Ho Ming Wah Association (www.bhmwa.com). However a website allows anyone with internet access can read it from anywhere and other Chinese from other parts of the UK and abroad will also have access to this site. But why would they want to read my website and what would they want to read? Well, I thought that basing the website on a Community centre would encourage readership, as people involved would naturally be interested in what is happening in their community centre. I successfully applied for funding from the Campaign For Learning Millenium Award Scheme and subsequently have become an Millennium Awards winner. My thanks go to the Scheme for providing funding for the "Web For All" project. You can reach the organisations by clicking on their logos below.
